CSP Music Group ("CSP," "we," "us," or "our") operates the CSP Music Group public website and the connected CSP Artist Platform. We use personal information to provide artist education, assessments, consultation scheduling, account and client experiences, project communication, secure review workflows, and related business operations.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the new CSP Music Group public website at www.cspmusicgroup.com, the CSP Artist Platform at app.cspmusicgroup.com, and related CSP-controlled online experiences that link to this policy.
Some paid services, projects, payment arrangements, or specialist workflows may also be governed by a proposal, service agreement, authorization, or other written agreement. Those documents may contain additional privacy or recordkeeping terms for that specific relationship.
External websites and services that you choose to visit from CSP links are governed by their own privacy practices.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly
Depending on how you use CSP, we may collect:
- identity and contact information, such as your name, artist or project name, email address, phone number, and mailing or location information;
- Artist Assessment information about your goals, experience, music and release readiness, public presentation, audience, promotion activity, business infrastructure, touring interests, available time, investment position, and other context you choose to provide;
- consultation information, including contact details, address, career context, links you provide, questions or support needs, additional notes, selected appointment time, and timezone;
- account and relationship information used to connect your prospect, artist, or client record across CSP experiences;
- project materials, files, music, links, notes, revision requests, approvals, selections, messages, and other content submitted or recorded through an authorized CSP client or review workflow;
- communications and business records created when you contact CSP or work with our team; and
- historical records previously submitted through CSP-authorized forms or systems when those records are preserved as part of CSP's legitimate business history and migrated into the current platform.
Do not place bank-account numbers, payment-card numbers, passwords, government identification numbers, or similar highly sensitive credentials in the Artist Assessment, consultation notes, or general website fields. If CSP legitimately needs such information for a specific transaction, we will direct you to an appropriate authorized workflow.
Technical and usage information
When you use CSP online services, CSP and its hosting/security providers may automatically process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, request time, requested page or route, referring information, error information, and security or fraud-prevention signals.
Private review and account experiences may also record operational evidence necessary to make the workflow function, such as a session or invitation identifier, whether a review page is active, playback state, the version being reviewed, notes, selections, approvals, and timestamps.
3. How key CSP journeys handle information
Artist Assessment and Career Snapshot
While you complete the Artist Assessment, draft answers may be kept temporarily in your browser so you can move through the experience without losing your place. When the Assessment calculates or validates a Career Snapshot, relevant answers are transmitted through CSP's protected website connection to CSP systems for processing. A completed Assessment can then be saved as persistent evidence and connected to your CSP relationship record when you continue through the approved submission or consultation flow.
The Assessment is designed to create structured, self-reported evidence. It is not intended to make an automatic final business decision about you, and completing it does not by itself enroll you in a paid CSP service.
Consultation scheduling
The consultation experience may temporarily save an unfinished intake in your browser. When you schedule, your submitted intake, selected time, and related Assessment context are sent to CSP systems. CSP checks live scheduling availability and uses Google Calendar to confirm and create the appointment. Appointment information may therefore be processed by Google as part of that scheduling workflow.
Knowledge Center video
Some CSP lessons use embedded Vimeo video. When a Vimeo player loads, Vimeo may receive technical information associated with the video request under Vimeo's own privacy practices.
Artist Platform and private client review
The CSP Artist Platform uses secure authentication and session technology to control account access. Private review workflows may process project files, temporary secure-stream or download links, timestamped notes, revision requests, final selections, approvals, and activity needed to operate the review. These records may become part of the applicable project or client history.
4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and CSP Artist Platform;
- deliver the Artist Assessment, Career Snapshot, educational pathways, and related artist-development experiences;
- create and maintain a consistent prospect, artist, or client relationship record;
- prepare for, schedule, and administer consultations;
- provide projects, files, client review, approvals, communication, and other requested CSP services;
- respond to questions and provide service-related communications;
- maintain business, accounting, contractual, audit, security, and dispute-resolution records;
- protect CSP, our users, and our systems from misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or security incidents;
- understand and improve how CSP experiences perform; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce CSP agreements and policies.
We do not use completion of the Artist Assessment, by itself, as consent to send automated marketing text messages.
5. Service providers and where information may be processed
CSP uses a limited set of infrastructure and service providers to operate the platform. Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by:
- Vercel, which hosts and delivers the new public website and its protected server-side website functions;
- Amazon Web Services (AWS), which supports CSP's production application, databases, private storage, and related infrastructure;
- Google Calendar, which is used to check consultation availability and create confirmed appointments;
- Vimeo, which hosts and delivers video used in CSP educational content; and
- other authorized vendors or professional providers that CSP uses for a specific business function, where their access is reasonably necessary to perform that function.
CSP's authentication system is operated as part of the CSP production platform. Service providers are not authorized by CSP to use CSP personal information for unrelated purposes merely because they support our systems.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a legitimate business reorganization or transfer, or with your direction or consent.
6. Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
CSP uses browser and session technologies where they are necessary to make platform experiences work. Examples include temporary Assessment or consultation drafts, continuity receipts, secure private-review invitation information, and authenticated Artist Platform sessions.
At the effective date of this policy, the new CSP public website is not configured with Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or similar third-party behavioral advertising trackers. CSP may still receive ordinary hosting, request, security, and error logs as described above.
If CSP later introduces analytics, advertising technology, or non-essential cookies that require additional notice or choice, we will update this policy and provide any consent or opt-out controls required by applicable law.
You can clear browser storage and cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may remove unfinished drafts, sign you out, or require you to reopen an authorized private link.
7. Marketing communications and sale of information
We may send communications necessary to respond to your inquiry, administer an Assessment or consultation, operate your account, or perform an active CSP relationship. Promotional communications may be sent where permitted by law and should include the choices required for that channel.
Providing a phone number for a consultation does not, by itself, authorize automated promotional text messages.
CSP does not sell personal information in exchange for money. If CSP's future advertising or data practices create additional legal opt-out rights in a particular jurisdiction, we will provide the required notice and mechanism.
8. How long we keep information
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business, contractual, accounting, security, audit, dispute, and legal obligations. Different categories of information may have different retention needs.
Temporary browser drafts may disappear when the browser session ends, when storage is cleared, or when the applicable workflow removes them. Persistent Assessment submissions, relationship records, client project records, approvals, and business evidence may be retained longer because they form part of CSP's operational or contractual history.
Historical records migrated from prior CSP systems may be preserved with source and timestamp information where keeping that evidence is appropriate. CSP does not promise to keep every category forever, and we do not publish a fixed retention period unless one has actually been established for that record type.
9. Security
CSP uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, authenticated platform boundaries, protected server-to-server connections, private storage, temporary secure media/download grants, and other production security controls appropriate to the feature.
No online system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for not forwarding private CSP review or account links to people who are not authorized to use them.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which privacy law applies, you may have rights to request access to certain personal information, correction, deletion, a copy of information, or information about how it is used. Some jurisdictions provide additional rights.
These rights are subject to legal exceptions. For example, CSP may need to retain contractual records, payment/accounting evidence, security information, project approvals, dispute records, or information that we are otherwise legally permitted or required to keep.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a privacy request. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request protected by applicable law.
You can also unsubscribe from promotional email through the method provided in the message. For text-message programs, use the opt-out instructions provided with that program if one is offered.
11. Minors
CSP may work with younger artists in appropriate circumstances, but the public website is not designed for a child under 13 to independently submit personal information. A parent or legal guardian should contact CSP directly when seeking services for a child under 13.
If you are under 18, you should use CSP's account, Assessment, consultation, and contracting experiences with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information improperly should contact CSP.
12. International users
CSP is based in the United States. If you use CSP services from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where CSP and its service providers operate. Applicable privacy protections may differ from those in your home country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the CSP platform, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published. Where law requires additional notice or consent, CSP will provide it.
14. Contact CSP about privacy
For privacy questions or a privacy-rights request, contact CSP Music Group and clearly state that your request concerns privacy. Please do not include highly sensitive credentials in the initial request.
